Horizontes Clásicos main focus is to enrich the cultural life of Cantabria with a global and inclusive vision. A unique proposal in an idyllic space. Our main goals are to strengthen the importance of continuing showcasing classical music nowadays - an art form with a long history capable of transmitting deep emotions by sharing a message of peace, gratitude, excellence and effort, all values of great relevance in today's world; as well as to support sustainable and high-quality tourism in this region of northern Spain.

The first edition of the festival will give special emphasis to the second romanticism period, with Rachmaninov, Strauss and Brahms as some of its greatest representatives. In addition, works by less common composers such as Aleksander Michałowski or Mélanie Bonis will be included. There will also be a chance to delve into some different aesthetic currents of the 21st century, suchs as sisters Nadia and Lili Boulanger's striking music or the tango of world-famous composer Astor Piazzolla.

Hugo Selles (piano) will be joined on stage by Australian violinist Khalida De Ridder, Spanish cellist Miguel Diez and the special collaboration of Alberto Pineda's Dance Company.

Join us for three nights of concerts at the incomparable setting of the Church of the Old Seminary in Comillas. A percentage of ticket sales will be donated to Amat. Click here for more info.
